Dynamics 365 for Operations once known as AX-7 gets a new name starting 07/01/2017; the software will be called Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to better reflect its capabilities.

A few speculative side notes:
As an outsider to Microsoft's marketing department, I suspect the name may change again as the 59 character title, "Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations," is hard to tweet about, blog about, etc.
Microsoft must have made it rain at the U.S Patent and Trademark office as the normal rules for trademark include: "Marks that are merely descriptive of the goods or services may not be registered on the Principal Register absent a showing of acquired distinctiveness under 15 U.S.C. §1052(f)."
