This user group membership is well worth the investment and as a partner it doesn't really help us to with our business except that we like all Microsoft Dynamics 365 Enterprise and Dynamics AX users to be happy with this solution. How to Define Key Business Processes Globally

April 21, 2017 / 0 Comments / in Microsoft Dynamics AX / by Anita Smallwood

Task Guides Make Defining Key Business Processes Globally Easier

Are you a manager or director of human resources, engineering, production, purchasing, or transportation and you are constantly taken away from your job to explain how to do business procedure "X"?  A feature called Task Recorder in Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365, can make your job more satisfying by being able to EASILY record and share the steps needed to perform a task. By using task recorder in Dynamics 365 or Dynamics AX, you are free to answer more pertinent questions; complete the actual functions required of your role instead of directing and training employees on how to perform day-to-day tasks.

This happens often to a purchasing manager I just met.  He is swamped with calls asking if he can add a vendor that costs 6K less than what is quoted in the approved vendor list?   When he replies no, a barrage of emails ensues, regarding Canada’s budget and bonus potential, nevermind why the vendor list exists in the first place.

Manufacturing is not glamorized even though the industry's multiplier effect is greater than any other industry; for every $1.00 spent in manufacturing, another $1.81 is added to the economy.  Manufacturing as an industry is more complex, not only do manufacturer's have to continually innovate and market products to remain at the top of the competition, but they have to incorporate buying, process planning, research and development, quality control, project management, manufacturing execution, selling the product, and shipping and warehousing. Then finally customer support has to be infused into the mix.  With all these ingredients it is important to get a break somewhere. Clients First found a one platform ecommerce solution that even integrates with your ERP system, as such we call it the best ecommerce solution for manufacturing.

March 13, 2017 / 0 Comments / in Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics 365 for Operations / by Anita Smallwood
